North Georgia winters are mild — right up until the night they aren't. One hard freeze with water in your lines can crack fittings, split the water pump housing, and turn a $200 winterization into a $2,000 spring surprise.
Watch for the first sustained hard freeze — in the Gainesville and Lake Lanier area that's typically late November, earlier if you're up toward Dahlonega or Helen, where mountain nights run colder. If your rig will sit unused from Thanksgiving to March, don't gamble on a warm winter.
De-winterization matters just as much: flushing antifreeze, sanitizing the fresh tank, pressure-testing, and firing every appliance before your first trip. We do both — at your driveway or storage lot, anywhere within about an hour of Gainesville. Slots fill fast both seasons; book early.
